Threads 4 Thought is an amazing apparel company which creates clothing made from sustainable materials. The line is also manufactured in a factory which respects its’ employees, and treats them fairly. Love that!

In addition to being eco-chic in both manufacturing and creation, Threads 4 Thought also gives back to the community! When you spend over $100 on Threads 4 Thought’s website, 10% of your purchase goes directly to the New Roots Campaign. This amazing campaign supports nutrition education programs in 22 American cities, 38 community gardens with New Roots growers, 60 New Roots entrepreneurs, and 850 New Roots growers from more than 30 nations. Love!

Threads 4 Thought makes a fabulous line of clothing and accessories which are perfect for everyday life. I am in love with the hat and scarf combination featured in the photos above. They are warm and cozy! I also love the blue tweed pattern of the knit. I cannot wait to wear these pieces both together, and by themselves, during the cold winter months.

It always feels good to find sustainable, eco-chic products to add to my wardrobe. I wish more brands and designers would follow suit and contribute both to the community, and the health of the globe as a whole.

Jay Godfrey showed his spring/summer 2016 collection at New York Fashion Week on September 12, 2015 at Chelsea Piers. The presentation was simple, modern, minimal, and crisp; a new vibe for the spring 2016 season.

Jay Godfrey showed an all-white collection which featured structured lines, and a modern vibe. On stage with the models, Jay Godfrey placed a pyramid in the center which was reminiscent of playground monkey bars in the 1970s and 1980s; yet in pyramid form instead of dome form. It gave the collection a slightly new wave vibe when combined with the modern lines on the collection.

Jay Godfrey’s spring 2016 collection is an interesting progression from his past few collections. For spring 2105, Jay Godfrey favored texture, patterns, and accessories. When he showed his fall 2015 collection, the lines became more simple, yet there were bright colors and patterns. For spring 2016, Jay Godfrey kept the simple lines, and moved into a more modern place with an all-white color palette.
