Bomber jackets are the “bomb” right now. 😉 I have a light pink bomber jacket, which you can see here, that I am in love with. It is medium warmth; not too heavy, but not lightweight. In the summer, I usually need a lightweight jacket to combat the morning fog; and also to help transition into the fall season.

Denim jackets tend to fit the bill when a lightweight jacket is in order. But, sometimes a denim jacket is a bit too obvious. So when I spotted this lightweight bomber jacket by SheIn, I was thrilled! Not only is it priced under $40, it is lightweight; making it easy to wear now, and into the warm fall months. Love that!

This lightweight bomber jacket is such a great alternative to a denim jacket. It can be worn casually, or it can add a little “street cred” to a skirt or dress. It really makes keeping warm on foggy days fun! I am looking forward to pairing it with jeans, and booties, when the fall season rolls around.

What is your favorite way to combat the fog?

How cute is this little Clarisonic Mia Fit in pink! I am so excited to have the opportunity to talk to you about it.

I have always washed my face using clean hands, water, face wash, and my hands. One thing I have always noticed, is that I need to exfoliate; or deep clean. I have tried using exfoliating face washes, but they never seem to leave my skin as smooth as a spa facial; and those can get expensive!

The Clarisonic Mia Fit is such a cute, small version of the large Clarisonic facial skin cleansing system, which has been in stores for years. It always looked a little bit intimating to me, which is why I never tested one out. So when I heard about the Mia Fit by Clarisonic, I was so excited to give it try! It is compact, not intimidating, and extremely easy to use. Love that!

I am so happy I had a chance to use the Clarisonic Mia Fit in pink. After one use, my skin felt as smooth and clean as after a spa facial. I could not believe it! Facials run north of $100 a pop, so it is definitely something I don’t want to do more than once a month; plus they take over an hour! Now, every time I use my cute little Mia Fit by Clarisonic, my skin glows like I just walked out of a spa!

Since I don’t wear foundation unless it is a special occasion, this is perfect for my lifestyle. I like to have a wash-and-go face. The compact size of the Mia Fit makes it easy to use daily, plus it will be easy to pack and take with me on vacation! Love!

The Clarisonic Mia Fit is part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale going on now through August 5, 2016. So for a limited time, you can grab one on sale here! Love that! You can also find the Mia Fit in more colors below. Thanks for stopping by, and stay fabulous 😉

We took the kids to San Diego for a week-long vacation. On our way south, we stopped for brunch in Pismo Beach. You can only imagine how thrilled we were to see a Ghirardelli Chocolate ad painted on the wall of the building we just happened to park next to! How crazy is that!?

I absolutely adore vintage advertisements. I love how they were not just selling a product; they were art. This advertisement was carefully painted, and designed. I wish I knew how old it was!

Pismo Beach was fogged in when we arrived around 10:30am. I felt like I was in San Francisco! Not only was it foggy, but the first thing I saw when I got out of the passenger seat of the car was this Ghirardelli ad! Did we really drive south? It was hard to tell!

I was really glad I had my soft, favorite denim jacket with me to combat the fog. We were at the beach, so I had to keep my sunglasses and hat on despite the fog; it only seemed natural. Beachside, they are a must! This outfit turned out to be perfect for the location, and the weather. Loved it!

Our original plan for brunch in Pismo Beach was to eat at Splash Cafe. Apparently they have world famous clam chowder; and I love clam chowder! Unfortunately when we arrived, the line to get in was extremely long, and wrapped around the building. So we went across the street to a diner named Brad’s Restaurant. We were so glad we did! This diner was deeeeee-licious! We were sat right away, and they had a great kid’s menu. My eggs and hash browns were cooked to perfection, and my hot chocolate was so yummy! Our waitress was extremely nice, attentive, and friendly. The interior was classic diner; and it was very neat and clean. Next time we stop in Pismo Beach, we will definitely go to Brad’s Restaurant! It was really good!

If you are driving south from the Bay Area to Socal, I highly recommend a pit stop in Pismo Beach. It is a nice break from the car to go beachside, and Brad’s Restaurant is a great place to recharge! Of course, if you are a chocoholic like me, look for the Ghirardelli Chocolate vintage painted advertisement. It can be found on Pomeroy Avenue, one block south of highway 1, on the south side of the building. This is also a good place to park when heading downtown since it is less crowded and only a short one to two block walk to everything; just keep in mind it is three hour parking. If you are planning a longer pit stop, look for one of the parking lots.

Our final road trip destination was San Diego. Stay tuned for a few posts about our Socal adventure!

Thanks for stopping by

XOXO
