The perfect stocking stuffer for the nail polish fan on your list is here! The Essie Holiday nail polish collection is contained in four, cute little mini-bottles, in shades of pale lilac (Go Ginza), red (Altitude Attitude), deep purple-navy (No More Film), and a sparkling silver (Apres Chic).

The colors from the Essie Holiday gift set are so perfect for the holiday season; as well as the winter season. Red is always a festive hue during the holidays, and it is so classic! This makes “Altitude Attitude” a fabulous red to have on hand for the holidays, and beyond.

Metallics are the bees knees this season, so “Apres Chic” is perfect to wear during the holidays for a festive mani, as well as throughout the winter season. “Go Ginza” is such an unique lilac hue! This is a great color to wear throughout the winter, and into early spring. It is my favorite of the set. Of course “No More Film” is a beautiful, deep dark purple with navy undertones. It’s mysterious and fabulous; perfect for winter. Love!

Of course, this little gift set is perfect for you too! If you love to change your nail color often, like me, then you will love these cute little mini bottles. The Essie Holiday nail polish gift set is such a great value for four festive hues! Plus Go Ginza and No More Film are unique, stand-out colors. If you like fresh hues on your nails, these two colors are to-die-for!

I can’t wait to wear these colors throughout the holiday season. They also make a great holiday gift or stocking stuffer idea!

Pantone color of the year 2017

It is that time of year again! Pantone has announced the color of the year, 2017! The color of 2017 is named by Pantone as “Greenery.”

Greenery of course is exactly what it’s name implies; it’s green. This is a natural green hue. It is a medium green which will be easy to wear as a neutral tone in 2017. Greenery also happened to be splashed all over the New York Fashion Week runways for the spring/summer 2017 seasons. You can read more about that here.

Here is a green moment from New York Fashion Week spring/summer 2017.

What do you think of Greenery for 2017? Is this a color you can see yourself wearing throughout the year?

I have to admit, I like Greenery! Green is already one of my favorite colors behind blue and purple. I have a few pieces in my wardrobe which are around this green hue, so I am looking forward to pulling them out to wear in 2017.

In addition to Greenery, look for military green in the spring/summer 2017 family of green hues. If Greenery isn’t your thing, you can look to military green as your way of rocking the green trend in 2017.

Although Greenery did appear on the runway quite often for the spring/summer 2017 season in New York, many designers mixed it into prints, as you can see above from Supima, rather than use it as a solid color. It should be interesting to see, now that Greenery was deemed the Color of the Year 2017, if it appears in a solid state on store shelves for spring, or if designers keep it mixed in patterns.

Stay tuned! I will be attending the shows at New York Fashion Week this upcoming February to see what will be hot for the fall/winter 2017/2018 seasons. Do you think Greenery will be a hot color for fall too? I will let you know!

Thanks for stopping by,

Casual winter look

Wearing: Kendra Scott earrings / MAC Lipstick / sweatshirt c/o SheIn (under $25!) / Mansur Gavriel handbag / Gap studded black jeans (on sale) / Kendra Scott druzy ring / Chanel Pink Rubber nail polish / Tory Burch booties (on major sale!!)

The cold winter temperatures are here! When it is cold outside, I love staying cozy in casual outfits. This particular outfit has become my go-to winter look on cold days. I love the casual, urban vibe of this sweatshirt from SheIn, and these cozy booties are so comfy!

Although cropped jeans, flares, and boyfriend jeans have moved past skinny jeans in popularity, I still love wearing my skinny jeans on cold days. They don’t let in any cold air! Love that! haha Maybe as temperatures rise in the spring season, I will go back to my boyfriend jeans, and my cropped jeans; but for now, skinny jeans are my comfort pants.

This is a great sweatshirt for winter. I love the hood on the back, which comes in handy when the wind kicks up and I want to protect my hair; as well as stay warm! What is even better, is the price! This cute little hoodie is priced under $25, making it an affordable comfort. Love that!

You can find my urban hoodie online here. I hope you love it as much as I do!
