Spring is here! The weather here in the San Francisco Bay Area has reached the 70’s and it is absolutely beautiful! I was thrilled to be able to wear this beautiful spring dress by Chadwicks of Boston over the weekend for a lovely day with my friends outside, enjoying this fabulous weather!

When I was walking around, I received so many compliments on this dress! I loved being able to tell people it was from Chadwicks of Boston and they have the best prices in the world! This dress from Chadwicks of Boston can be worn with the shoulders down, like I have done in the photos, or with one shoulder up, or both shoulders up. I also wore it to church over the weekend and put both shoulders up, and switched to flats. It was perfect for a modest look for church; yet with wedges and the shoulders down, it made for a sassy look with my girlfriends. Love the versatility!!!

The belt is detachable too, so if I want to wear it with black accessories, I can switch out the belt easily. I love this dress so much!!!

The Perricone MD Cocoa Moisture Mask is just what my skin needed! Let’s roll back a minute to a time before I had three children. Back then, it was easy for me to go to the spa and get my monthly facial; just like Mom taught me to do. After I had my first child, I was able to go to the spa sometimes, but not monthly like before I had my first baby. Once my second daughter was born, that was it! No more time for facials. Sigh.

Since I cannot make it to the spa on a regular basis, or shall we say more then once per decade, I need to take care of my skin at home when I can squeeze out some time. A mask is ideal for me since it can cleanse and firm my skin; which is what happens in a regular facial. The Perricone MD Cocoa Moisture Mask is so special. Not only is it Phthalate-free, sulfate-free, and paraben-free, it is made right here in the USA. Love that!

My skin is considered combination skin. I have oily skin, but I also have dry skin. This can pose a challenge in my skin care routine! Thankfully the Perricone MD Cocoa Moisture Mask is deeply hydrating while it firms my skin. In addition, it cleanses my skin, which helps with blemishes. Love that!

In addition to needing to use a mask, my skin has some large pores. I have larger pores around my nose and on my cheeks. I have to admit, it does not look very nice! So I was very thankful to see Perricone MD include their fabulous Chloro Plasma mask in the box containing the mask. This is just what my pores needed! How did they know?

The Perricone MD Chloro Plasma mask is a great mask to use in conjunction with the Cocoa Moisture Mask. I don’t use them on the same day, I alternate weeks. I love Perricone MD’s Chloro Plasma mask because it has successfully minimized my pores around my nose, and on my cheeks. In addition, it leaves my skin squeaky clean. Love that!

One of my favorite activities with my friends in the 1990s was attending concerts. I loved seeing live music, and being able to hear the musicians play in person; without any studio enhancements. This was before modern artists lip-synced on stage and used other “helpers” to perform. Bands used to play raw. If the singer had a strained voice, you could hear it, if someone hit a wrong note, you heard that too. It was fun and made the music real; it all came to life.

If I had some extra cash, I would purchase a tee-shirt from the concert as a memento. I always wore my shirt proudly to school the Monday after a concert, and I would integrate it into my wardrobe. Once I got to college, band tee’s were not really “cool” anymore, so I folded mine up and stored them; after all, they were my mementos.

Fast forward to 2017 and I see people wearing band tee’s again! Love it! So I found two in my coffers and decided to re-integrate them into my wardrobe for the spring season. I love vintage pieces with meaning, as well as sharing my music taste!

AC/DC was one of my favorite groups when I was in high school. I saw them in concert twice! Once at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, and once in Oakland; The Razor’s Edge tour and also the Money Talks tour. My love for the band’s music has never wavered, and I will always enjoy listening to their albums. My eight-year-old son has also taken a liking to AC/DC and he loves “Back in Black.” It is fun to be able to share my favorite music with my kids. I hope they enjoy music from my generation, as well as their own.

There is so much good music from all periods in time. I enjoy everything from Opera to classic pop to classic rock to modern music. Every musical genre has it’s own special flavor; music makes the world go round!
