Summer is upon us, this means it is time to ensure we are carrying the ultimate IT bags for the summer 2017 season. There are three handbags which stand out this summer, and are must-haves for anyone who covets the ultimate IT bag.

The new Chloe Nile handbag is offered in two sizes, and has been deemed the “bracelet bag.” It features a fun, golden bracelet which can be used as a top handle or as decoration. The mini version of this IT bag holds little more then keys and a lipstick, while the medium-sized version can easily be worn everyday as it holds a wallet, keys, lipstick, smart phone, and glasses without a hard case.

I have spotted this bag on multiple women throughout Silicon Valley. This bag is hot right now, and can only get hotter!

Cult Gaia Ark Bag

The Cult Gaia Ark bag is hotter then hot. It also happens to be under $150! A-ma-zing! It is extremely rare for an IT bag to be so affordable! While this might not be the most practical of the IT bag family, it definitely wins in the unique style department. You can easily tie a scarf on the handle to make the bag match your outfit, or you can line the bag with a colorful scarf, allowing your own personal style to shine through the cracks of the bag. It is great for the beach, poolside, or as an everyday bag. Love!

This is a bag I have spotted on the arms of women here in the San Francisco Bay Area, plus it was carried by a lot of other fashion and style bloggers at the recent rewardStyle conference. The Cult Gaia Ark is a popular bag on the street, and via social media!

JW Anderson Pierce Bag

The JW Anderson Pierce Bag is getting hotter as we speak. This street style star first gained IT bag status last fall when it peppered the streets of New York at fashion week. The bag’s popularity has grown, and it has become a must-have bag for the summer 2017 season. Look for it in classic black, red, and seasonal dark blush. Swoon!

There is also a cross-body mini version available, so if carrying a bag in your forearm is not your thing. The cross-body version has a pretty chain strap which allows the bag to be worn as a shoulder bag, or cross body bag. Love!

I have spotted a few of these on the streets of San Francisco, but it really shined when I was in New York. This is the bag I get the most compliments on when I wear it, and I have had multiple women ask me how I got my hands on mine. This is a great IT bag to own if you want one which is a little bit on the rare side.

The weather is getting crazy hot! We literally went from 50’s last week, to 90’s this week. I feel like I am melting away! That being said, I am not really sure what possessed me to wear jeans on a scorching hot day, but somehow I survived.

I love wearing jeans and a tee shirt on casual days when something like hot weather makes me want to crawl up on the sofa with a bowl of popcorn, and binge-watch reality TV. These photos were taken on one of those days. Instead of being able to snuggle on the sofa, I had to work, take my daughter to home-school chess class, run some errands, order my son’s birthday cake, and the list goes on! This meant I could not just throw on something comfortable, and hide at home; I had to look presentable. Ho-hum

Since jeans and a tee-shirt were the mood I was in on this fine, sweltering hot day, I decided to elevate my comfortable, casual look with my go-to espadrilles, and this kimono. Luckily the holes in my jeans created a make-shift air conditioner, and the kimono felt so light and airy, this outfit turned out to be fine in the scorching 92F heat. Shocking!

Despite being wedges, I have to admit, espadrilles are SO comfortable. They have become my go-to comfort shoe on warm days, casual days, or anytime I need to walk a lot, yet look put together in the spring or summer seasons. These wedges do the trick! Although they are old, they are still comfortable, and in great condition. I have a similar pair in black, which is priced under $100. I bought them last year ,and have been wearing them again this season. I linked to the beige version of them above in my outfit details. They are really comfortable for walking, standing, and on sweltering hot days when leather shoes rub feet the wrong way. No blisters from these puppies!

I am so excited to talk about the L’Oreal Paris Ever Hair Care Collection with you! This collection features a hair care product for every type of hair; which is so amazing! So my teenage daughter will get really mad that I am writing this, but, in order to give a proper review, I need to let you know what works! My adorable teenager has dandruff, so she has been testing out the L’Oreal Paris Ever Fresh Anti-Dandruff shampoo and conditioner. She washes and blowdries her hair everyday; without any heat protective product. Her hair takes a daily beating, so dandruff has been a problem. She has been using the L’Oreal Paris Ever Fresh Anti-Dandruff shampoo and conditioner for about two weeks now, and she loves it! It has eliminated her dandruff problem, and her hair remains well-moisturized, without any film. She loves it!

My middle daughter has fine, curly hair. She loves to make sure her curls are in ringlets, yet has volume. If her hair looks flat, she rewashes it! I gave her the L’Oreal Paris Ever Pure Volume shampoo and conditioner to test out. Her curls are staying bouncy, and her hair is fluffy with volume. She is very happy with this shampoo and conditioner! So if you are looking for volume, this works!

My hair tends to be dry from continual use of a flat iron and blow dryer. Since I need moisture, not oil, added to my hair, I decided to test out the L’Oreal Paris Pure Moisture Shampoo and conditioner. It does the job without leaving my hair with an oily film. Love it!

I have a feeling the Ever Creme collection will come in handy this summer when  my whole family has dry hair from the pool, and the beach. Since the L’Oreal Paris Ever Hair Care Collection is free of parabens, dyes, and sulfates, I feel confident letting my kids use it on their hair.
