Perricone MD Cold Plasma plus face cream and eye cream are new, more powerful versions of Perricone MD’s Cold Plasma creams. The Cold Plasma plus collection is said to improve loss of radiance, even out texture, even out skin tone, held mend discoloration, reduce redness, reduce enlarged pores, reduce fine line and wrinkles, as well as improve firmness.

As a GenX, Mother of three, my skin has taken a beating over my lifetime. I don’t believe in plastic surgery; but what I do believe in, is taking care of your skin, using masks, and using high quality skin care products to help combat the aging process.

My skin has an uneven tone on the bridge of my nose from years of sun exposure. I have enlarged pores in my T-Zone, and I am just starting to get fine line around my eyes, my mouth, and on my forehead. Anything I can do to combat these issues, I will do!

Perricone MD sent me their Cold Plasma plus face cream and eye cream to test; and boy am I hooked! I have been using these two products for only two weeks, and I already notice firmness in my skin. The lines which have been developing from the edges of my nose to my mouth have been reduced. I have also noticed the lines reaching across my forehead have been reduced. This face cream actually works! I wish I was able to get before and after photos of my skin, but my camera doesn’t pick up the fine lines in my face; so you will have to trust my word!

The Perricone MD Cold Plasma plus face cream and eye cream collection is lightweight, which is amazing! Nothing is worse then using a face cream which leaves a film on your skin, or clogs your pores. I am acne prone, so using a lightweight cream which absorbs into the skin, as opposed to sitting on top of it, is a must-have! Love that about Perricone MD products!

Cold Plasma plus by Perricone MD contains powerful ingredients which help fight the again process such as, Copper Tripeptides, Vitamin C Ester, and Omegas 3, 6, and 9.

Moving forward, I am using the Perricone MD Cold Plasma plus face and eye creams as my nighttime routine. You can see my daytime routine here. I love what these products are doing for my skin, and I can’t wait to see them continue to combat the aging process!

Wearing classic black Gucci Princeton Mules

I can’t get enough of my . . . Gucci Princeton Mules in classic black! When the Gucci Princeton Mules first started trending last year, I instantly fell in love. They offer classic, effortless styling with just a bit of understated glam. This is totally me!

My personal style is California Casual with a touch of glam. So when the Gucci mules started appearing everywhere, I knew I needed a pair. Although they have been designed in so many different colors and patterns; it was the classic black style which drew my eye. I knew I would wear them often; and I was right!

This pair of classic black, Gucci Princeton Mules has been in my closet for a year now. I have worn them throughout the year, in all four seasons. You can see in this post a sample of the outfits I have worn them with; and this is only what has been photographed!

This is a pair of shoes I reach for several times per week; and if my feet hurt from another pair of shoes, I slip into my Gucci mules mid-day for instant comfort. These really are a true pair of go-to shoes. They are comfortable, effortless, and easy to walk in. Last summer, I walked all over Chinatown with my family in these mules, and they were amazingly comfortable!

As an alternative to flats, I find myself reaching for my Gucci Princeton Mules so often that my classic black flats are collecting dust; no joke! I can’t remember the last time I wore any pair of flats other then my Gucci mules!

In the past, I have talked about investment dressing and owning closet staples which can last through anything. These Gucci Princeton Mules are a prime example of an investment piece every fashionista needs in her closet. They are truly classic, and a must-have! I would love to own another pair in a different color; or perhaps indulge in an embroidered pair!

Keeping fitness on track during the holidays

The holiday season is in full swing, and all of us are experiencing busier schedules. I feel like my days are so jam-packed, keeping to a regular fitness routine is downright impossible! Thankfully, there is a way to stay on track, and fend off those nasty holiday pounds, during this festive season.

Although I have a regular workout schedule for the winter season, the most important thing about it is that it is flexible. When the holidays hit, my schedule fluctuates, changes, and becomes extra hectic. I need to have backup workout plans in my fitness arsenal in order to keep on track, and get my five workouts per week in.

If you like to go to classes, keep them in your schedule, but have independent workouts available to you as a backup plan; just in case you can’t make it to your regular classes. Here is my holiday fitness schedule, and my back-up plans.

Monday: BodyCombat (backup-treadmill and abs work)

Tuesday: Spin class (backup-jogging in my neighborhood)

Wednesday: H.E.A.T. (interval-strength class) (backup-treadmill and weights)

Thursday: Rest Day or makeup day if I missed a day earlier in the week

Friday: Insanity (interval class) (backup- swim  workout)

Saturday: BodyPump and Step (backup-treadmill, weights, and abs)

Sunday: Rest Day or makeup day if I missed a day earlier in the week

The backup workouts are all individual, so I can do them at any time during the day. If I know I can’t make a scheduled class, I can wake-up early, and do my backup workout at 5:30am, or whenever it fits into my day. It can be difficult staying on track, but having a backup workout plan is essential to keeping fit during the busy holiday season. Nothing is more difficult then not fitting into your jeans after the New Year. Can’t have that!!
