One of my favorite casual go-to looks every spring season is jeans, and a cute top. It is such a no-brainer look. There are so many cute tops on the market for the spring season; it is hard to choose just one! Since tops can easily be worn with trousers for work, and jeans for casual days, it is easy to splurge on a fabulous top we can wear again and again.
While I have a ton of tops on my wish list, I narrowed it down to my top ten favorite spring tops on the market right now!

The spring 2018 season offers a lot of trends for us to wear on the street. When shopping for tops this spring, we can look for the corset trend, shades of yellow, florals (groundbreaking right?), eyelet and lace, bright hues, tiers, bell sleeves, stripes, and asymmetrical lines.
These ten tops for spring fit into the current trends; and can be worn in so many ways! Of course, my favorite way to wear them is with jeans! Now, if only I had the cash to buy them all! Ah, a girl can dream right?

One of the biggest trends in denim this spring season is the embellished denim trend. I have always loved embellished denim, but have always been a little fearful that they would be hard to wear; or that I would somehow ruin the embellishments on the first day I wore them.
Now that my kids are getting older, I feel like I can wear nicer things without having to worry about getting my kids accidentally getting me dirty, or grabbing my clothing and tearing something. I have to admit, I have been pretty lucky. Although my kids have stained my clothing with pasta sauce covered hands, mud covered shoes, and spilled milk over the years, out of all three of my children, only my oldest actually broke something. When she was a toddler she grabbed my necklace and broke the chain. I think that is pretty good considering I have three active kids! But I digress. . .back to embellished jeans for spring!
I have always loved having a 1970s vibe in my personal style. So, when I spotted these embellished denim flares for spring, I thought they were the perfect pair of jeans for me to rock the embellished denim trend this season. Although flares aren’t the hottest denim silhouette this season, they are considered a classic style and can be worn this spring despite the fact that boyfriend and girlfriends jeans are the IT styles of the season. Flares are a great alternative to boyfriend, girlfriend, and cropped jeans.
This pair of embellished denim flares has a combination of embroidery and bead-work. The embellishments are full of color, and it is fun to pick up on of the colors and accessorize it. I pulled the yellow for my nails, and the mint green for my earrings. I went with my favorite go-to black tee, because, well, it’s is really comfortable and I love how it looks.
These jeans will be fun to wear throughout the season. They can be paired with platform espadilles and sandals. They can also be paired with all different colors of tee’s for the warm weather.

How cute is this Staud Moreau netted bucket bag! This bag started to pop up last summer when netted bags, straw bags, and wooden bags gained popularity. It wasn’t until this spring that the Staud Moreau handbag launched into cult IT bag status. The most amazing part? It is priced under $500! Love that!
I started to eye this bag last year, but was not sure which color to purchase one in. I liked the tan, but have found in the past that caramel and tan bags end up sitting in my closet. I tend to wear black, white, or colorful bags the most. So when I spotted the Staud Moreau netted bucket bag in red for spring 2018, I decided it was time to pull the trigger and buy one! I am so happy I did!
This fun little bucket bag resembles a flower pot, and for the longest time I didn’t know the official name of the bag. I have been calling it the flower pot bag! It looks like a flower pot inside of a macrame net which could be hung on a patio for decor. I think the flower pot aesthetic is what makes this bag so much fun! I have always wanted a kitschy handbag, but most of them are so specific and funky, I never wanted to spend money on them for fear I would get bored of said kitschy bag, and it would end up collecting dust on a shelf.
The Staud Moreau bucket bag offers a kitschy look without being too far out there; so I am certain I will actually wear it without letting the bag collect any dust! Since this bag is a bucket bag shape, it is super practical!
The interior of the Staud Moreau netted bucket bag is roomy and open. The round shape, and shallow depth, enables you see what’s inside, making it easy to find everything inside bag. This is what makes the Staud Moreau netted bucket bag practical and easy to wear on a daily basis.
The two handles are comfortable too! It is easy to carry either by hand, or hung on your forearm. The leather, although structured, is smooth and soft; allowing for comfortable handles. The only concern I have about the exterior is the macrame netting. I want to make sure I don’t let it catch on anything. So far, so good! That being said, the netting is quite sturdy, so if it does catch on something, it should survive OK.
It is easy to fit my daily purse essentials inside the Staud Moreau netted bucket bag. My wallet, iPhone, lipstick, sunglasses, and keys fit easily inside with plenty of room left for the things my kids ask me to carry for them. I love the fact that this bag is roomy. In the warmer months I am always throwing extra items in my bag such as sunblock, small water bottles, and snacks.
All in all, I love this bag! It is super easy to wear as a daily handbag, and the quality is strong and sturdy. I also love the fun silhouette, and calling it my “flower pot bag.”
