Have you ever wondered what to wear on an airplane? Maybe you travel a lot and are looking for something new and comfortable for your next flight. Or perhaps you haven’t traveled recently and need to replace your Pan-Am bag and blue suit? Well, I have found the most comfortable clothing for flying! It’s SOMA Intimates new Style Essentials collection!

Long flights sometimes drive me a little bit crazy because I am trapped in a tube, who knows how high above the ground, for five to six hours. It is really boring. I can’t go for a run, I can’t jump and down, and I feel stuck in my seat. Since I am stuck in a seat, which isn’t exactly comfortable, I always need to make sure my airplane attire is as comfortable as possible. Thank goodness for SOMA Intimates Style Essentials collection!

The SOMA Intimates Style Essentials clothing is extremely soft. Their clothing is so soft and comfortable, sometimes I forget I am in street clothes and not wearing pajamas! haha

I love these cropped leggings for travel. They are really soft and easy to wear. They allow me to get as comfortable as possible in my airplane seat; and that’s quite a feat! This blue tunic tee is super soft and comfy, it’s great for being comfy at home, travel, or anytime you want to wear something which is no-fuss. You may recognize this black jacket, it’s my current go-to cover up. This jersey jacket is really soft and the perfect weight for fall weather. It’s great on foggy days and perfect for air travel. We have been so lucky to get fog every morning the past couple of weeks. It feels like fall weather, and the fog has put my mind in a fall mood. I’m over summer weather, and really want fall to happen; let’s make fall happen!

It is really nice to be able to wear my fall jeans, and move my feet back into booties. I love being able to grab a scarf and cozy up in the morning when the temperatures are in the 50’s. Of course, the fog usually burns off, and we are left with temperatures in the 80’s by 3pm. <sigh>

I’m just going to pretend those warmer temperatures aren’t happening, and I am just going to make fall happen; it will happen! In the meantime, this outfit is perfect for volatile temperatures. I can add a scarf when it’s cool outside, and then wear it as-is for the rest of the day. These booties are comfortable, and the split shaft keeps them cool when temperatures heat up. Love that!

I wore this outfit the other day when I took my kids to Santana Row for lunch. We ate at The Counter and I tried the “Impossible Burger” for the first time. It was really good! If you haven’t tried it yet, definitely give it a go. I enjoyed mine with cranberries, cheese, pesto, and fries. It was delicious! After lunch, we went over to the Hello Kitty Cafe and picked up a few sweet treats for the family. I didn’t realize the Hello Kitty Cafe at Santana Row is a pop-up shop. It will only be on-site until spring 2019; I guess that qualifies as a long-term pop-up shop? haha, be sure to stop in before they pop away!

Happy Labor Day 2018

Happy Labor Day 2018! Can you believe it’s already Labor Day? I don’t know where the time goes! I’m at home relaxing with a book. The last few days have been quite a whirlwind! I had stomach pain the other day, and it was pretty severe, so I called my doctor. After running a few tests, he checked me into the ER and I had surgery.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my trip to New York Fashion Week. I need to relax and recuperate; which may take a few weeks. Even though I am not going this September, please know I will still follow the shows from home and bring you the hot new trends from the runways in New York!

Stay tuned! I will return to New York Fashion Week next February.
