Spring has finally sprung! We went from cold, wintery days, to daytime highs in the 70’s, and nighttime lows in the 50’s. This means it is the perfect time to switch out our winter pajamas for our new, bright spring pajamas! Yay!!

Since our spring weather has arrived, I switched my pajamas to SOMA’s Cool Nights spring pajamas collection. I love this cute pajama set which includes pants, a v-neck top, and a sleep mask. The entire set is priced under $70, and features the cutest lemon print created by Chico’s internal artists. It’s so pretty and amazing!

This sleep set by SOMA is perfect for more than just catching some Zzzzz’s overnight. It is soft and comfortable, while providing modest coverage for daytime wear. You can easily wear this SOMA Cool Nights sleep set while lounging around the house. You can answer the door when FedEx arrives, and not worry about being in your pajamas. These pajamas can pass for printed pants and a tee. Love that!

I also have to give the matching sleep eyemask a shout-out. I get horrible allergies this time of year. With allergies, comes fatigue in the afternoon. This sleep mask allows me to take a quick afternoon, spring nap, and block out the bright, afternoon sun. This the perfect pajamas set! Love!

SOMA has so many cute pairs of pajamas from their Cool Nights collection which are perfect for the spring season. Since it’s time to switch out our winter PJ’s for our spring ones, this is the ideal time to stock up! I am eyeing the blue pair, and the pink pair, to add to my spring pajama collection. Which pair is your favorite?

Off-White camera bag review

off white camera bag review

As much as I love fun and trendy handbags, I tend to stick with conventional colors and designs. Not this season! I looked at my current handbag rotation for spring, and decided I needed something a little bit different, and fun, for the upcoming warm weather season. Bring in the convertible camera bag by Off-White!

Off-White is an edgy, mens’ and women’s brand which is new on the fashion map. They have an urban vibe, which is part luxury, part street style. If you like urban street style with a dose of luxury, Off-White will be your new go-to brand! The company offers a range of handbag styles which are functional yet fashion-forward. I love how the brand pushes the envelope. So, when I see something I like, I want a little piece of it.

As we move into spring, and eventually summer, I start to think about my warm weather lifestyle. During the warmer months, we take more vacations, and do more family activities which require un-fussy accessories. A handbag which offers a hands-free option, is the perfect way for me to enjoy vacations, sight-seeing, and family activities. When I noticed Off-White had this convertible camera bag for the spring season, I decided it was my way of enjoying the Off-White brand, and getting something fun yet practical at the same time. This was a good purchase!

My Off-White camera bag has turned into my go-to bag. I find myself wearing it roughly five days per week. I love the comfortable, seat-belt material cross body strap. This Off-White camera bag also features a second leather strap, which easily attaches to the back of the bag to turn it into a belt bag. While I am anti-belt bag, I have to admit this is a nice feature to have; just in case I need to wear the bag that way!

The camera bag by Off-White features two interior slit pockets, a secure zipper closure, an outside pocket which is nice for tickets and papers, and two detachable straps; one cross body strap, and one belt bag strap. The handbag is small, yet fits everything I need on a daily basis such as a wallet, lipstick, keys, sunglasses, iPhone, and a small point-and-shoot camera.

The exterior of the bag features a detachable paper clip, which if removed, gives the bag a more formal look. You can really make this bag your own by moving or removing the paper clip, and wearing the strap of your choice. I love all of the options this bag features!

Another thing I love about my Off-White camera bag is the quality. This bag is made with sturdy materials, and the stitching is top notch. This is definitely a hearty bag that can be used for travel and everyday wear. I’m starting to think I need to pick up a couple more in additional colors! I chose the black/white stripe version, but it does come in seasonal colors too. Love!

This is a fabulous bag to add to your collection. It’s priced just under $1000, and offers what we all need in an everyday, small bag. Since it is a convertible bag, it’s like two bags in one! So, if you were thinking of buying a belt bag, and a cross body bag, you can save some money and look at this convertible, two bags in one option! Love it!

Cool spring day go-to outfit

casual spring outfit ideas how to wear pvc tote bag spring 2019 spring 2019 street style san francisco bay area snakeskin sandals spring 2019

wearing: pink resin hoops / lipstick / black long sleeve twist tee / small PVC tote / spring nail polish / jeans (old-also love this pair) / snakeskin high heel sandals /

Now that daylight savings time has started, I feel like spring needs to be here! Thankfully the grey weather has stopped, and we finally have some sunshine in the sky! Despite the sun, the temperatures are still hovering in the 40’s and 50’s. This means we still need to wear warm clothing; so not spring-like! Ugh!

I have decided that I am done with booties! I have been wearing them since September and I feel like it’s time to lighten my footwear. Despite the 40 degree temperatures, I wore these comfy snakeskin sandals the other day. Since I was wearing jeans and long sleeves, I decided sandals would be OK. I won’t tell you how cold my toes were. We can pretend my freezing toes didn’t happen. haha

These snakeskin sandals turned out to be surprisingly comfortable! They have a Velcro fastener at the ankle, which makes them easy to take off in the car for driving; I don’t drive in heels. They are also comfy and easy to walk in. If my toes weren’t cold, I would have walked all over town in them!

I have been clinging to my jeans from the fall season. This spring 2019 season, the denim styles are a throwback to the 1980s and 1990s. I am not thrilled about acid wash, high waisted mom jeans, or cropped flares. None of these styles are very flattering when you have curves; so I will continue my spring denim search and let you know when I find a flattering cut! In the meantime, you will find me in my jeans from last season. Flip hair-don’t care. haha

What are your thoughts on the jeans this season? Do you like the silhouettes, or are you in my boat?
