If you have been following along, you know I am a huge Soma Intimates fan. So when they sent me their new Soma Vanishing 360 Bra, Soma Vanishing 360 panty, and Soma Vanishing Pants, I knew I had to share them with you!

Underwear lines are something women have dealt with for years. There are so many brands out there claiming to have the ultimate products which disappear underneath clothing. While many don’t show thick lines under clothing, there isn’t anything out there that actually vanishes while being comfortable, and staying in place. How many times have you tried panties which don’t show lines, but also move all over the place? If I wanted to wear a thong, I would buy one! I wouldn’t wear a full coverage panty that rides. . .well you know where! Annoying, right??

Soma has always made underwear that stays in place, so when they sent me their Soma 360 Vanishing panty, I had high hopes. My hopes were well placed! These stay put! Yay! They also don’t show lines under pants; another yay!

I also want to give these pants a shout out. They have a hidden layer which helps hide lines, so if you aren’t wearing panties that vanish underneath your clothing, these pants will take care of that for you. They are a great pair of classic black pants which can be worn in any season; casual or dressy. Love that!

Striped cardigan weather has arrived

Sweater weather is finally here! Yay!! I met my friend Dawn, from Fashion Should be Fun, last week for lunch, and it was cool enough to cozy up in this stripe cardigan sweater. It was so nice being able to enjoy a fall-like weather pattern while walking around downtown Los Gatos with Dawn.

I picked this sweater up back in July, and I have been patiently waiting for a day when temperatures dropped low enough to wear it. It was worth the wait! It’s not a heavy cardigan, making it perfect for fall. In the winter, it can be warmed up with thicker layers underneath. This long sleeve tee is also lightweight, so it was the perfect combination last week when temperatures were in the high 60’s and low 70’s.

This necklace deserves a shout-out too! I purchased it last spring at the Mustard Festival in Saratoga. They always have really cool, local artists and vendors at the festival. My kids love going every year. Funky China was there selling her handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces. They are made from pieces of old china; which is super cool. Definitely check our her Instagram! I get compliments and questions about it every-time I wear it. It’s a conversation starter; and it’s fun to have something one-of-a-kind!

fall 2019 cardigans


Fall 2019 fitness routine and goals

The fall season is in full swing, and this means adjusting our workout schedules to fit in with the changing weather patterns and season. I had every intention of sticking to my summer workout routine, alas, I started having pain in my left hip.

Let me tell you, hip pain is no joke. It can be bad! It hurts to walk, it hurts to sit, and it can also hurt when laying down. I tried stretching it, resting it, going to a Chiropractor; nothing worked. I was soon diagnosed with Bursitis in my hip. I was told to rest it, and at the same time, strengthen the muscles in my legs. Um, how do you do that while resting your hip? Ugh, I am still trying to find a solution.

Long story short, my hip still hurts, and it isn’t getting better. I am working on the exercises prescribed to me, and this season, I will have to do a light workout routine in order to let my hip heal.

I don’t have a weekly routine like I have had in seasons past. For the fall 2019 season, my workout routine involved exercises prescribed by my doctor, yoga once a week to stretch everything out, swimming, and walking. Can I just tell you, this is really boring!

So, hopefully this routine allows my hip to heal while strengthening my leg muscles so my hip can heal properly.  Which types of exercises are you doing this fall?
