Drumroll please . . . the fall 2019 IT list is here, and there are four distinct bags on the list. These four IT bags for fall 2019 were spotted on the streets of New York Fashion Week, and they were favorites of street style photographers. In addition, celebrities and style stars across the country are reaching for these bags; you may find a few are already backordered, or waitlist only.

Let’s start with the biggest IT bag of fall 2019, the Bottega Veneta Pouch. This slouchy, daytime clutch was spotted the most on the streets of New York Fashion Week. It is the bag every style star is wearing. This is the number one IT bag of the season; and classic black is in stock as I write this! Fingers crossed it still is when you read this. This soft and fabulous clutch is priced just shy of $2500, so if this is way out of budget for you, there is an alternative. Mansur Gavriel has a similar soft, and slouchy clutch, priced just under $400. You can get on the waitlist here. Whichever style you choose, you will be the style star of the season.

Next in line is the cross body, or shall we say, small shoulder bag, of the season. If small bags are your jam, this is your IT bag of fall 2019! The Valentino VSling is a convertible bag which offers a strap that can be worn long or short. This enables you to wear this bag cross body, or “slinged” over your shoulder. I just picked one up in black, and will post a review next week; so stay tuned!

Are you looking more for a workhorse bag? Yeah, I love having one too. The Chloe Aby was also spotted on the streets of New York, and it is the ultimate workhorse bag of the fall season. It comes in small, medium, and large; so there is a size for you! I have one in black and have been wearing it non-stop since the summer season. Mixing decades for fall 2019

One of the runway trends which has inspired my daily outfits is mixing decades. Designers for fall 2019 took inspiration from several decades, two of which were the 80’s and 70’s. These are two decades I am feeling right now, so my fall wardrobe has several pieces inspired by both.

This top has a very 80’s vibe with puff sleeves and a flashy animal print. I originally purchased it to wear to fashion week, but I also knew it would be fun to wear back home too. As you can see, I have already been wearing it! I paired this fun blouse with 70’s style bootcut jeans for a mixed decade look. Overall, it feels more 70’s than 80’s, but it still offers vibes from both decades.

I wore this look last week while exploring downtown Los Gatos with my Mom. Although a Bay Area native, she had never really walked around downtown Los Gatos before! So I took her for a little tour, and treated her to lunch at my favorite Thai restaurant in Silicon Valley, Golden Triangle. Aside from the fabulous interior and beautiful presentation, the food is absolutely delicious! If you are local, be sure to check it out; even my picky children love it!

It was fun showing my Mom around, especially since she has been showing me around for my whole life! It was fun to switch roles for once! I even showed her how to use my little Canon camera so she could snap these photos of my mixed decade look. I think she did pretty well for her first time!

What’s new in my fall 2019 beauty bag

OK, this photo is a little overexposed. I’m not sure what is going on with my DSLR, but it’s doing weird things with light lately. I am pretty sure it is time to replace it; after all, it’s a 2013 model. I’m just torn as to whether or not I should invest in a new DSLR, or go mirrorless; if you are familiar with cameras, I would love a suggestion and/or tip in the comments below!

Now, onto fall beauty! I have kept my skin care routine, and makeup routine the same for the fall 2019 season, as it was in the summer 2019 season. I am adding this fabulous curling iron in an attempt to make my hair look better; haha. It’s a really cool curling iron which creates the coolest looking beach waves. Even a hair novice like me can do it! When I get my first outfit photos up with beach waves, I will point it out so you can see the difference! I am still working on using the right hair product to make the waves stay. They seem to fall out after fifteen minutes without product. I guess I cannot get away without using product in my hair! Boo!

Can I just tell you how addicted to this body butter I have become?! Colleen Rothschild is one of my favorite skin care brands. This body butter does not disappoint. It adds the perfect amount of moisture to skin without leaving a film. Love that! The honey vanilla scent is warm, without being too sweet; perfect for the fall season! I might go through this jar unusually fast! Highly recommend!!

OK, my daughter filled me in on Glossier. It’s a really popular brand with the teens. She’s into makeup, so she loves a ton of products by Glossier. I needed to see what the teens were buzzing about, so I indulged in my own piece of Glossier by purchasing this lipstick. It’s a sheer lipstick which leaves just the right amount of color on my lips. My only complaint is that it is not smooth going on. In fact, it’s a little difficult to apply. Once it’s on, it looks and feel great; it’s the application process which is a little odd. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Now, you might be wondering why I placed two pairs of earrings in this photo. haha, Well, I couldn’t make a box shaped photo with just three beauty products, so I threw in some cute earrings Baublebar sent me for the fall season. These are actually from their Target line, and super affordable. I can’t wait to wear them this season, so watch for some upcoming outfits paired with these baubles!
