The holiday season is in full swing, and I know what I want from Santa! I also happen to know what my friends will want from him too 😉 Shopping for my friends is always fun. They are bold, athletic yet chic, adventurous, kind, and downright fabulous! I know I can find the perfect gifts for them at Chico’s!

Let’s face it, holiday shopping includes a ton of shopping for both ourselves and others. It’s hard to resist snapping up beautiful items we may need when we see them alongside something we know a friend or family member would love to receive. So, this holiday season, and every holiday season, I will shop for myself while I shop for gifts!

I’m loving these travel cases for the holiday 2019 season. I have a few trips planned next year, and these cases would be ideal for keeping my suitcase organized. My friends love to travel too which means this travel case would be perfect for them; hopefully my BFF’s aren’t reading this-or they will guess what I am placing under the tree for them!

Jewelry is always a fabulous stand-by when it comes to gift-giving, and Chico’s has some amazing pieces to give this season. I am swooning over this snowflake brooch. It adds sparkle during the dreary winter season, and it’s also an easy way to spice up a coat or jacket. Love it!

One of my favorite items to give is a sweater. This ruana is really fun for the holiday season since it seems like a sweater, yet offers a sophisticated silhouette which can be dressed up or down. It also comes in a ton of colors; and it’s reversible! It will be the perfect gift.

Scarves are another stand-by gift. Everyone loves to receive a scarf! Many of us love to give ourselves scarves too! Haha one for me, one for you! I am obsessed with this sparkling and chic scarf from Chico’s. It will be under the tree for someone in family. Shhhh!! Don’t tell her! 😉

In addition to gifts, ‘tis the season for parties! This season I am attending events held inside homes. I love these velvet pants, and this chic velvet ruana for holiday house parties. They are really comfortable, yet chic and festive. Love that! The entire look is Chico’s, but I’m sure you guessed that already 😉

Winter 2020 skin care routine

While it isn’t quite winter yet, the drier, colder temperatures are starting to occur; which means we all need to hydrate and repair the damage done from the warmer summer, and fall months. My winter 2020 skin care routine starts now!

My tan is beginning to fade, and what is left behind is an uneven skin tone. I’m excited to use this dark spot corrector as my day cream this cold weather season. It will fade spots on my skin, reduce the size of wrinkles, and add moisture where I need it. I have been a huge fan of Revive skin care since I was 28 years old, and it has always done what I have needed it to do to my skin. Love this cream!

I started using this neck cream when I was 28, and I haven’t turned back. This neck cream by Revive is my “old faithful,” and my smooth neck is here for it. I will use this cream forever. It works wonders, and prevents aging on my neck. This is something I need as my age creeps towards that half-century mark. Yikes!

It’s hard to find eye cream with spf. Why is it so hard? There are plenty of eye creams I have used over the years, and have fallen in love with, but why do they not contain spf? This eye cream offers SPF 15, and my eyes are thanking me for it.

It isn’t just the face that needs some love during the cold winter months. This body butter, and this hand cream, add just the right amount of moisture without being greasy, slippery, or icky. Love them!

How could I resist this path, filled with beautiful fall leaves, in the parking lot at Stanford Shopping Center? I couldn’t! My original plan was to find some pretty holiday decor, and snap some photos in front of it, but then, I saw this path and had to change my plans immediately! Can you blame me? These fall colors are soooooo pretty!!

While it is still technically fall outside, I am in full-on holiday mode. This fall season has been so busy with my kids schedules, that I haven’t really had time to relax, or think! I am craving the holiday season because it means peaceful time with my family, moments to share with my friends, and more time to chat about fashion, style, and beauty with you! Love that!

When Chico’s sent me this black twin set as a holiday gift last week, I was thrilled! I love a good classic twin set; especially in black! This is a great twin set to reach for on casual days since it is over-sized. I gave it a little holiday flair with my green scarf from my holiday capsule wardrobe. I can definitely give it more sparkle after Thanksgiving 🙂 If you don’t own a classic twin set, you need one! Definitely check this one out, it comes in a ton of colors! Love!
