This is a fabulous time to be alive when it comes to handbags. Since craftsmanship is in, and logos are out, many IT bags are priced well under $1000. In fact, many handbags right now are priced under $500 and offer better quality than the logo bags. Love that!

As we move into the summer season, continue to look for east/west bags, slouchy buckets, suede, neutral hues, belted totes, hobo handbags, shoulder bags, natural fibers, and straw. This is a great time to invest because IT bags are affordable! Love!

Japanese Friendship Garden San Jose

Did you know San Jose has a Japanese Friendship Garden? The best part? It’s free! Love that!

Nestled into Kelley Park and across from Excite Stadium, the Japanese Friendship Garden offers well maintained gardens, a calm pathway, and lots of Koi! The only drawback is that there is a problem with the large pond, so it has been drained for several years. Fingers crossed San Jose finds a way to fix it!

This is a fabulous place to go if you want an easy outdoor walk instead of a gym day, or you need a peaceful activity to relieve stress. If you are local to the San Francisco Bay Area, I highly recommend taking a moment to visit for a peaceful walk; just be prepared for the empty pond.

You can always make a day of it and also visit History San Jose as well as the Portuguese History Museum since they are all on the same, large block on Senter Road.

Moulin Rouge! A Sparkling Soiree

Moulin Rouge is coming to Broadway San Jose July 8, 2025. Get excited!

In order to kick off this exciting show coming to Broadway San Jose, they held A Sparkling Soiree to celebrate Moulin Rouge taking the stage in San Jose. Held at Left Bank Santana Row, this French, circus themed event included a signature drink, heavy appetizers, cookies, and fun! It was nice to meet those working on the show as well as fellow theater goers interested in helping to promote the event.

As you know, Moulin Rouge is a famous Broadway show which has won numerous awards and also has an award winning cast and crew. I am really excited to see the show in July!

Broadway San Jose hosts traveling Broadway Shows at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. This is a cool, mid-century modern venue with comfortable seats, amazing acoustics, and close proximity to plenty of parking and delicious restaurants. Attending a show with Broadway San Jose makes for the perfect night out! I highly recommend it.
