The fall season has arrived! As the autumn season moves in, temperatures are moving into moderate territory. This means it is a great time to mix up my skin routine!

If you are like me, you spent a lot of time outside this summer. After all, it was one of the few places we could go during lockdown. This left my skin a little blotchy and dry. Therefore, the fall season is all about repair! This dark spot remover by ReVive is ideal for lightening dark spots left by the sun. It really brightens my skin. I use the Elemis Moisturizer in the morning, and the ReVive dark spot corrector at night as my moisturizer. It works really well!

This ReVive neck cream is a favorite of mine. I have been purchasing it since I was 28, and now I am well into my 40’s. It has spf protection, and keeps my neck firm. I love it!

In the fall season, I love gourmand and warm scents. This honey vanilla collection from Colleen Rothschild is perfect for autumn. It’s warm, and the perfect amount of silky sweetness. Plus, it does a great job of cleaning, and smoothing, my skin.

I have purchased the body butter in the past. I definitely go through this jar! One lasts me about six months. It smells so good, plus it corrects dry skin; leaving it smooth. It’s a must-have not only for fall, it’s a must-have all year long! Love it!

OK raise your hand if you hair is terrible right now! I spent the summer in the sun, and in the pool. Not only that, I have not had my highlights touched up since the first week of March! Our salons just reopened, so I need to run down there and get some color repair done. Aside from that, my hair has split ends, chlorine damage, and sun damage. Thank goodness for this hair care collection from Colleen Rothschild! I am using this fabulous hair mask every Sunday, and it is really helping my dry hair. I also love this hair serum, which is great to put on after I dry my hair. It smooths down my hair leaving it soft and controlled. Love that! I’m not sure how I survived before owning it!

The fall season is all about repairing the damage to our skin and our hair from all the fun we had in the sun over the summer! Everything I am showing in this post will help repair and correct summer damage. I love these products!

Spring 2021 trends from the NYFW runways

New York Fashion Week was different this season; in case you hadn’t already heard. Designers showed thier spring/summer 2021 collection in a virtual format. While few designers offered in-person, outside runways shows with extremely small attendance, the majority made artistic videos which showcased thier new collections, or filmed runways without an audience and livestreamed them.

In addition to the shows I was invited to watch, I was able to watch several more designer shows than normally. Not only because I was able to view collections I am not normally invited to see in person, but because I could sit at my desk and go from show to show, instead of having to allocate travel time between shows. This was a very relaxing, and productive, way to do fashion week! Let’s take our “wins” out of this and share them!

If you had a chance to watch along with me, you may have noticed a ton of inspiraiton came from the 1980s and 1990s for spring 2021. Designers loved powersuiting, bright colors, exagerated sleeves, feminine designs, prarie silhouettes, ruffles-lots of ruffles, and a ’90’s hip-hop flair. While the ’80’s donimated, you could still see some early ’90’s floating around, and mixing in with the flashy 1980s. So, without further ado, let’s check out the biggest trends from the New York Fashion Week spring/summer 2021 runways!

Welcome to the 4th BAF Weekly IT List! I’m excited about this IT list because the spring 2021 runway shows just finished in New York. We got a glimpse of what is hot for the spring season; and what is not. This helps us make informed decisions about what we buy now; to last us through several seasons.

Spring 2021 is all about 1980s and 1990s influence. So these patchwork jeans for fall are also ideal to carry us through spring; and summer if the weather is cool enough for jeans. At under $40, they aren’t just a great investment for now into next year, they are a downright steal!

Loafer slides are a must-have every fall season. They are also a great spring shoe too. If you haven’t already invested in a pair of classic loafers, I recommend doing so now. If you scroll down, you can compare the designer IT version of loafer slides, with an affordable version I highly recommend.

This fall nail polish by Chanel continues to be a hot seller, and a must-have for fall. It’s a classic dark red, and very chic. Love!

As the weather cools, we all need a soft and cozy cardigan sweater which can be worn around the house, as well as out in the real world. If you are spending a ton of time at home, as I am, this is the ideal sweater for the season. It will carry you through fall, winter, and spring. Love it!

Lastly, remember I mentioned spring 2021? These green and gold fall earrings fit into the spring 2021 color trends. This is an easy way to add a bright spring hue to a dreary fall or winter day. Plus, they can be worn next spring and summer. These are classic earrings and an easy way to stay ahead of the trends. You know I love staying ahead of the trend curve!

I have owned the Gucci loafer slides for several years now. They are extremely comfortable, and can be paired with almost any outfit. My loafer slides are my go-to shoes every fall and spring. I even wear them on warm winter days, and cool summer days. They go with everything! Since fall is trending towards preppy and timeless vibes, these are a great shoe to invest in now, and wear for years.

You can splurge on the Gucci pair, or go for a more affordable pair under $150. The affordable pair is comfortable and offers good quality. So you should enjoy longevity out of them.
