The BAF Weekly IT List is here! This week we are still loving everything fall, but at the same time, we are starting to think of the sparkling holiday season. Don’t we all need a little sparkle right now? I do! So, without further ado, here is what’s hot this week!

Holiday nail polish is all the rage this week as we start to add a little festive sparkle to our nails. This holiday season, look for Chanel’s golden IT polish, as well as dark purples and classic holiday reds. Stay tuned for my upcoming review of the Diorific holiday nail polish collection!

A small clutch is always useful, especially during the holiday season! This fabulous black clutch is made from cork-yes, cork! It’s sustainable and vegan. Love that! It is also priced under $150, love that too! Plus, it has a detachable chain strap, making it versatile and easy to wear for casual and dressy occasions. It’s also the perfect size for dining out at a restaurant as it fits nicely on your lap. I just got one, so stay tuned for an upcoming review in early November!

This soft and slouchy satchel is the current IT bag of the season; and will definitely remain an IT bag for seasons to come. It’s on my holiday wish list; I just know Santa will place it under the tree for me!

Lastly, it’s starting to cool off outside, which means it is slipper season! These cozy and soft slippers are hot right now. They are great to give yourself, as well as to a special someone on your holiday list. I have a pair, and am currently living in them! Love!

Fall sweaters for autumn 2020

fall sweaters 2020

Fall sweaters 2020 from top left: grey turtleneck sweater (under $50) / blue sweater (I own this one and love it! avl in others colors too) / ivory turtleneck sweater (under $40) / grey and off-white turtleneck (under $100) / color block mock-neck turtleneck sweater / soft and cozy cardigan (I own this one too, it’s super soft and cozy-love!)

Sweater weather is finally here! It is amazing how quickly the weather shifted in the past week here in California. We went from 80’s and 90’s temperatures to a cool high 70’s in the daytime, and 50’s and 40’s overnight. Love the cooler temps!

Now that temperatures have finally fallen into fall, we can pull out our sweaters. I love this blue sweater with jeans and loafers. It’s a classic and easy outfit during the fall season. I am also loving this soft cardigan which is great around the house over loungewear, or over a tee and jeans with sneakers, while out and about. I also have my eye on this fabulous color block sweater, and this grey turtleneck sweater. They are fabulous!

Turtleneck sweaters are a huge trend this fall season. It is definitely a style we all need in our closet. There are so many on the market, it’s just a question of which one to invest in! I linked to the ones I think are super cute. I hope you love them too! Which style of sweaters are you loving this fall season?

Natural Bridges State Beach sea arch

Natural Bridges State Beach is a small park in Santa Cruz; just north of the famous boardwalk area. This beach area is a jem if you love both the beach and easy hiking trails. In addition to a clean, sandy beach which is mostly flat and easy to enjoy, there are short trails behind the beach where you can hike before relaxing by the ocean.

In addition to a beautiful beach for relaxing, and hiking trails for a little exercise, there is a very fabulous sea arch! This sea arch is one of three natural bridges left at the beach. Around 1900, there were three arches, the farthest arch collapsed in the early part of the 1900’s. Until 1980, the first arch, which connected the middle arch to the mainland, collapsed in a storm. If you are local, and old enough to remember, you may have seen it! Perhaps it’s in the background of one of your family photos!

Alas, there is only one arch left; so if you are local, or plan to travel to the Santa Cruz area, definitely visit the beach so you can see the beautiful arch in person; before it’s gone too! Unfortunately due to erosion, these sea arches don’t last forever.

So of course, I had to take a touristy photo in front it; just for memories of course 🙂

Our family visited Natural Bridges State Beach over the weekend, and enjoyed a relaxing day by the ocean. We wore sweats, and brought blankets, to stay cozy in the cool, 50 to 60 degree weather. It was a nice day of book reading, and picnicking by the sea.

Sometimes the beach is nice when it’s a cold day; it does not always need to be a sunbathing and swimming type of occasion. Relaxing with the sound of the ocean is a great way to enjoy the coast during the spring and fall months. I love it!
