Disneyland is open! We are so excited to take a trip to Disneyland and enjoy ourselves! This is a fun road trip we are familiar with, and the whole family can enjoy. I mean, who doesn’t love getting lost in the fun at Disneyland? I know I do!

We normally head to Disneyland during the cooler months. Hot summer days at Disneyland are foreign to me, so I had to be strategic in how I packed for the trip because Anaheim can get really hot in the summer. So if you are like me, and you are wondering what to pack for Disneyland in the summer when it is hot outside, then read on!

In order to combat the heat, I knew I needed to pack cool clothing that also protected me on rides. I like to wear pants on the rides because it feels cleaner, and it is more comfortable. In the cooler months, I usually wear jeans; they’re just easy. Of course when it hits 90 degrees outside, jeans are not exactly what one would call comfortable. Despite this, I did pack one pair of jeans just in case the weather ended up cooler than expected. Otherwise, this pair of linen pants will be my Disneyland go-to pants when the weather is really hot. They are cool pants and just as comfortable as shorts on a hot day. Plus, since they are pants, my legs feel protected on the rides. Love that!

Tee-shirts are a must when it is hot outside. Of course, we don’t always want to wear a basic tee. These tee’s with ruched and puffy sleeves are right on trend, and are more elevated than a basic tee. The fun part is that these tee’s don’t look like basic tee’s, yet they offer the same comfort as one. Plus, the fabric is so soft, love!

The shorts and the skirt are for when we are back at the hotel and I want to change for dinner, or another activity. Stay tuned for my Anaheim trip coverage to see what else we did besides Disneyland!

A small, cross-body bag is a must. This one has two straps, so I can wear it cross body at Disneyland, then switch the strap for other activities. It’s two bags in one, which is great for travel. Love that!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 is here! If you are a big spender, you already have access to the sale today. Every two days, another level has access-and you know who you are! If you are like me, and you don’t have an account at Nordstrom, then we are all waiting for public access which begins on July 28, 2021. I am waiting, not so patiently!

In the past, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has been marketed as a way to snag great deals on new, fall merchandise. While this sounds great on paper, are you ready to shop for fall? I know I am not ready yet. I have found the best way to shop this sale is to stock up on essentials that I need all year long.

The two most important things I like to score a deal on during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale are nail polish remover and fitness clothing. Yes, you read that right, nail polish remover! This set lasts me a full year, and I use it once a week. If you have been following me for awhile, then you know I am addicted to nail polish, and constantly changing the color of my nails. This requires a nail polish remover which is gentle on my nails, and gets the job done. This one does! I am a huge fan!! If you get nothing else from this sale, buy this nail polish remover! It is the first thing to drop into my shopping cart.

I also plan to stock up on a few new pairs of workout leggings. I love this pair, and I always buy a few every year during this sale. In addition to nail polish remover and leggings, I am excited for this set of eye pencils from Laura Mercier. I have been using these pencils for close to two decades, so this set is a dream!

Casual clothing is always a good option to stock up on during this sale too. I love this oversize stripe tee, these jeans, and this lightweight sweater which is great for foggy days during the fall season.

Chain details are a huge trend right now. If you are looking for something trendy to save money on during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 then these two pairs of chain detail footwear are for you. I definitely want to get at least one pair. Which pair do you love more? The chain detail booties, or the chain detail loafers? They are both fabulous!

The BAF weekly IT list is here! We are all still loving IT bags, both classic and current. The chic ’90’s look for handbags is still going strong, and should continue well in the next season. This classic straw tote bag is also hot, and it is selling out at many retailers. I linked it where you can still find it in stock.

This flowing maxi skirt has a prairie skirt look along with a beautiful pattern on the fabric. It’s a great closet staple which can be worn casual with sandals or espadrilles, and also dressed up with heels or slides. Love it!

Puffy slides and woven leather are hot trends in shoes! These two pairs are comfortable, and they are perfect for the summer season. The black slides can easily flow into the fall season; since temperatures usually remain high during the fall.
