It’s starting to look a like like fall! At least, inside the stores, and on retail websites, it looks like fall! Outside, well, that’s a different story. Despite all these new mask mandates, I am hopeful that the fall season will be business as usual around here!

That being said, I think you are excited about fall too! Not just for the cooler temperatures, but for the prospect of attending a football game, watching kids trick or treat, and everything else we love about the fall season. I know I am looking forward to these fall activities we missed out on last year!

Since fall is highly anticipated, it’s no wonder fall merchandise is flying off store shelves! Fall nail polish is hotter than hot, and these dark neutrals are highly on trend. Puff sleeves and chain details are huge for the autumn season, as well as slouchy handbags and structured ‘90’s hobos. Since it’s too warm to wear coats and heavy clothing, we can all add a little fall to our wardrobes right now through handbags, nail polish, and puff sleeves! Love that!

Chain chain chain! Do you hear the song going through your head? I sure do! As you already know, chains are everywhere! They were a hot spring/summer trend, and chains are blowing up for fall! We are seeing them all over everything! If you haven’t already invested in a chain detail item for right now, what are you waiting for?

As you know, there isn’t anything new or groundbreaking about chains. Chanel has been doing them forever, and designers everywhere have been trying to make chains their own for decades. That being said, Chanel will always be the Queen of chains. Of course, this doesn’t mean you have to rock the chain trend with an item from Chanel. After all, very few can afford a closet full of Chanel! Thankfully brands from all price points have made beautiful clothing and accessories with chain details, so all of us can rock this trend. Love!

I always eye a good IT bag, and Bottega Veneta’s chain pouch caught my eye, and gave me many sleepless nights until I pulled the trigger, and invested in one. I chose dark brown because it’s neutral, and I own too many black bags already. Although, can anyone really own too many black bags? Seriously, I don’t think that is possible. I expect more black bags in my future, but I digress. . .

You don’t have to indulge in the chain pouch to rock the chain trend. These fabulous and comfy booties are currently on sale for under $100. The price will go up in the middle of August, they are a fall item. So, if you love them too, snap up a pair while the price is good. I have already done a lot of walking in my pair, and my feet have been very happy. Love them!

Chains are popping up for fall on more than just shoes and handbags. Expect to find chain details on clothing and jewelry too. This is a chic and fun trend for the fall season which is bound to continue into 2022. Love that!

Fall is in the air! Well, not really, it’s over 90 degrees outside. That being said, we are all starting to think about, and shop for, the fall season! Love!

This year, the fall season brings more than just moderate temperatures. It brings back a feeling of normalcy we didn’t have last year. Fall 2021 is offering our children in-person school with a normal schedule, normal sports schedules, travel, and a normal schedule we did not have the opportunity to enjoy last year. So as we all shop for fall, it’s more than just new clothing or nail polish, it’s a fresh start and a renewed sense of joy. I am here for it!

I love looking ahead to fall events and activities, which means more than just loungewear and jeans. It means a possible dress, flowing skirt, and a renewed anticipation of having fun at traditional fall events. I am looking forward to attending football games, parties, traveling, and more!

As shoppers look towards the same normalcy we do, they are building up their wardrobes with classic IT bags, and IT bags which offer a ’90’s vibe. Nail polish for fall is dark and neutral. Clothing has color, and offers some practicality. More on all these trends in August on the blog!

The best items to invest in early in the season are IT bags, fall nail polish, and a fabulous pair of sneakers for walking and travel. Clothing always seems to be last to hit store shelves, and a lot more is coming! So stay tuned!
