Street style right now is chic, simple, and reminiscent of the 1990s; but without the dreadful and boring minimalism of the decade. I love that the good parts of ’90’s style is hot right now, without the bad, frankly boring parts. Love that!

Now that many mask mandates are coming to end, this foundation powder is a must-have! We can no longer get away with doing only our eyes, our whole face needs attention. This foundation powder is a face in one compact. Love it!

People are starting to dress up, and leave the loungewear at home. In fact, I am seeing less denim on the street and more faux leather pants, as well as skirts. It’s so chic; I love it!

Handbags are also a little bit more dressy as the structured hobo gains more and more popularity. Plus, the pouch clutch is a continuing star in the handbag world. Everyone seems to have one!

As the rainy season starts, these water resistant lug sole boots are a must-have. Plus, they have the ideal, on-trend 1990s look we all want right now. In addition, these boots are really comfortable. I bought them last year, and they are still being made this year because everyone loves them so much. ‘Tis the season to sparkle! I am so happy the holiday season is upon us. Last year, we were still locked down here in the San Francisco Bay Area, and we were unable to gather with family members from outside our household. This year, I am looking forward to seeing my family, and enjoying the holiday season. That being said, I need to make sure I have enough festive looks for the various casual and dressy events I plan to attend!

For my casual holiday capsule wardrobe, I have this cozy tweed jacket, two sparkling puff sleeve tops, a long sleeve satin top for cold days or outdoor events, these fabulous faux leather pants, and my current go-to jeans. All of these pieces can be mixed and matched for endless outfit ideas! These holiday outfits can also be paired with sparkling crystal jewelry, or more understated, daytime jewelry; depending on the occasion. Love!

Well, parties are back in style this year! Therefore, I need a few dressy options. This green pleated skirt from fall is perfect to slide right into the holiday season. Of course, what holiday season is complete without a sparkling sequin piece! This skirt is currently on sale; it’s fun, festive, and the skirt version of the little black dress. It can be worn daytime, nighttime, or anytime! Love!

Since these fabulous, faux leather pants are my current obsession, they too can be worn to evening events. Paired with heels, a sparkling top and jewelry, as well as an evening bag, these pants are great for outdoor events where my legs could get cold in a skirt. Love!

The holiday season is here! I put together a shoe capsule wardrobe for the holidays 2021 based on what my plans are, and my current state of, shall we say, ability to stand and walk?

I injured my hip in early September, so I am not fully recovered yet. This means I need to make sure my footwear is comfortable, and won’t cause any additional problems as my injury heals. While I have one pair of high heels in my shoe capsule for the holiday season, the rest of the shoes are comfortable and easy to walk in. The one pair of high heels is also on the comfortable side, and will only be worn when there isn’t any walking involved in my itinerary. Plus, I always keep a back-up pair of shoes in the car when I wear heels, and these chain boots are perfect to swap out for heels when my hip starts to get mad at me.

The big trends in footwear right now include 1990s influences such as lug sole boots, “combat” boot styles, street sneakers, and the square toe. In addition to 1990s influences, footwear is also cozy this time of year, making these faux fur boots perfect for the fall, holidays, and winter seasons. Love!

These faux fur boots are by Sperry, and they offer water resistant construction which is ideal this time of year. Plus, the faux fur is ultra soft. They are so comfortable and luxurious! You know I love luxury and comfort! They also feature a winter sole which prevents slipping in snow, rain, and ice.
