The annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here! Today, Nordstrom’s big spenders get to start shopping the sale early. Tomorrow, Ambassador level customers are able to shop the sale, followed by Influencer level shoppers on July 9, and the general public on July 15. Basically, if you have a Nordstrom credit card, you will fall into one of the first three categories-and chances are, you already know where you fall!

This sale can be very tempting, but if you are not careful, you will over-shop. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a combination of summer items, year-round basics, and pre-fall merchandise. You won’t find anything trendsetting or groundbreaking in the sale. This is a sale which is ideal for stocking up on basics, and necessities you might need right now, or anticipate needing in the fall season. Remember, the real fall merchandise will hit stores in early August, and throughout the month. This is pre-fall and not a reflection of incoming trends.

Before you make your shopping list for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, take an inventory of your closet. What do you have from last year that still works? What is your wardrobe lacking? What basics do you need? This sale is a great time to pick up underwear, socks, workout clothing, and basic fall needs such as neutral boots, sneakers, and classic sweaters.

There is a lot of merchandise to go through in this sale! It can be overwhelming! Plus, when you go in store, there is total chaos. Shopping online is the best way to score what you want from this sale, and also maintain sanity. Who wants to shop with the vultures? Not me! I’m shopping this sale from the comfort of my own home, in my slippers. Love that!

The sale has some classic bags, as well as on trend items such as this clutch! I also love this grey hobo bag. As you know hobo handbags are huge this year, and this grey one is classic and clean. Love!

Platforms and golden footwear are huge for fall. I am hoping to pick up one of these golden boots for the fall season. I also love the croc printed pair at the bottom of the collage. Love!

How cute are these Cargo Khaki and white Nike Dunk high sneakers? I love the late summer, fall color combination which is a great neutral for everyday wear. When these sneakers appeared in the Nike app, I was really excited because I already owned military green shorts and a few pairs of pants. I knew this sneaker would be the perfect match with these bottoms!

What I love about the Nike Dunks, both low and high, is that they have really good arch support. If you have been following along, I injured my hip last summer and as soon as it healed, I injured my foot. I have to make sure I am wearing good, supportive shoes in order to help the arch of my foot heal. This led to me investing in a few new pairs of sneakers to ensure I wasn’t in the same shoes every day. I ended up with a Dunk obsession! I love being able to get a pair which is the perfect color for my wardrobe. If you have tried getting sneakers from the Nike app or SNKRS app, you know it can be a challenge! Check out my tips to help increase your chances.

I wore this outfit the other day to go back to Eataly for lunch, and a little grocery shopping. We ate lunch at Pizza & Pasta and it was yummy. I enjoyed a pasta dish with mushrooms, which is pictured below. It was really good! From the grocery, I highly recommend grabbing a tiramisu to bring home and enjoy later. Thier tiramisu is out of this world! If you are looking at the deli, I recommend the thinly sliced mortadella. I grew up on mortadella and I can safely say this is one of the best ones I have tasted. Love!

Eataly at Valley Fair is very popular, when you go, go early! I highly recommend making a reservation for the restaurants. Walk-in is a very long line. For the grocery, I recommend going early too. They can get crowded! Check out my write-up here.
