Fall 2022 is upon us! This means shifting our capsule wardrobes into the new season. For the fall season, handbag trends are shifting along with the weather, so a few minor adjustments to my handbag capsule are in order.

Shoulder bags are back. They are displacing cross body bags as the daily go-to bag of the season. This doesn’t mean you have to store your cross-body bags. They are handy for running errands and more. That being said, if you want to snap a picture of yourself for the gram, quickly move your bag to your shoulder, snap the pic, and then go back to wearing it cross body. The fall season is all about the shoulder bag.

Speaking of shoulder bags, the hobo bag is also a type of shoulder bag. As you know, hobo bags are hot, despite consumers slowly adopting the style. There are plenty of styles to choose from. You can go for a soft hobo, structured hobo, large hobo, small hobo, or moon shaped bag. The moon shaped bag is the IT silhouette of the season! I love this one for under $500. It’s always fun to rock a hot trend without breaking the bank.

For the fall season, I am keeping my handbag capsule neutral with the exception of my little green bag. I love this little green bag and the bright pop of color it offers. I highly recommend having at least one fun color in your fall 2022 handbag capsule wardrobe!

While not pictured, bucket bags are huge this season! I do plan to wear mine; I just didn’t photograph them. You can go with a classic Mansur Gavriel bucket or test out their new version which offers a top handle. It’s on my wish list!

The fall 2022 nail polish trends are quite simple: neutrals and berries. That’s it! This fall season, we can wear any shade of berry, or any neutral hue. It’s a great season for classic nail polish hues which offer traditional autumn colors. Love!

Now you have to ask yourself, are you a neutral girl? Or are you a berry girl? That is the biggest question! Of course, I cannot answer that, I believe I am both! haha

When looking at neutral nail polish colors for the fall 2022 season, look for anything from a pale nude hue to shades of brown and beige hues with rose tints. You can contrast your skin color or match it closely. It’s up to you! I plan to contrast my skin color.

Now, if you are more of a berry nail polish fan, you’re in luck! There are beautiful rose hues, classic reds, and shades of dark burgundy. You can be vampy with a dark nail polish, classic with red, or soft with a rose. It’s up to you!

If you work in an office environment that is conservative, I would stick with a shade of rose or go neutral. Bright red or vampy hues could be too much in a conservative office. It’s better to stay safe in an office environment.

So many fun pieces for transitioning from summer into fall! Love the neutral hues on both of these handbags. They are hot neutrals for the fall season, and all possible hobo handbag silhouettes are hotter than hot. Love that!

Nail polish for fall is offering us neutrals and berry hues. Loving these two colors for fall which are proving to be popular on the streets.

Elevated casual is also hot this fall. This black top is a casual fabric with a twist! (pun intended) It’s perfect for pairing with jeans for an elevated casual look or with trousers for a comfortable yet dressy look. This top will be part of my fall capsule wardrobe and I look forward to wearing it often and styling it in every way possible! Plus, it’s under $100. Love that!

Looking for an alternative to regular jeans? These joggers are ultra-soft and made from denim! They offer that denim feeling with a soft fabric that looks fabulous now as well as into the fall season. Love these joggers!

Fall shoes are trending! This season look for loafers and western style boots. These are the two hottest styles in footwear. Love that!
