Summer is officially here, and we are stocking up on classic pieces. As we start to get a sneak peek into fall trends, continue to invest in the anonymous handbag, neutral clothing, staple wardrobe pieces, and splurge on a new fragrance.

Did you know fragrance is getting popular again? Back in the 1990s we used to leave a scent trail. While 2025 isn’t quite there, we are back to getting noticed. So, don’t be afraid to spray a second time, or wear a heavier perfume. Right now, stick to summery scents such as fruity florals, florals, vanilla based fragrances, and spicy scents. As we head towards fall, stay tuned for exotic scents, woody florals, woody scents, oud, and more!

Have you heard of “Texani?” Apparently, it’s a street style trend out of Italy where people dress the way they think Texans dress. I find this trend amusing, but at the same time, it will be integrated in fall fashion. Keep your western style boots, hats and denim. This trend will translate here in America as outfits you might find yourself wearing to a country music concert. It will also include more subtle touches like pairing boots with dresses and skirts; which is something we are already doing! haha, maybe Italy got this right? I don’t live in Texas, so maybe a Texan can weigh in?

In the meantime, continue to invest in closet staples, basics, neutrals, and high-quality handbags. Love!

All about the cardigan sweater

I love an office outfit I can wear day into evening. This outfit took me from the office to dinner and then an event with Broadway San Jose. It was the perfect outfit to take me through the day!

This cardigan sweater is fun to wear over a tee for a conservative look, or a tank top, or cropped tank top for a fun evening or weekend look. It is so versatile! Plus, the design and weight offer good quality. I’m on the hunt for a good pair of linen shorts to pair with this cardigan when summer starts to heat up! Love that!
