‘Tis the season for scents! When warm, summer weather arrives, I love to wear scented body lotion which is subtle, and offers just enough fragrance without being overwhelming. My favorite scents in the summer include coconut, vanilla, and Colleen Rothschild’s Tahitian Monoi; it is absolutely fabulous!

There are two main reasons scented body cream is far superior to just wearing perfume during the warm summer months. The subtle scent is perfect when perspiration happens, and it will happen, plus, body cream helps restore dry skin from summer sun and fun. That’s two birds with one stone! Love that!

My two favorite brands are Colleen Rothschild, and Laura Mercier, but the other brands I am showing you are good too. Colleen Rothschild and Laura Mercier are the ones I reach for the most often. They have beautiful scents plus offer the perfect amount of moisture for my skin. I love being outdoors during the summer months, so a good body cream is essential.

Favorite dim sum in Cupertino

There is a new dim sum restaurant in town! Koi Palace Contempo might be new to Cupertino, but it is already a mainstay here in the San Francisco Bay Area. When I heard they were opening a location in Cupertino, I was overjoyed! They have the best dim sum!

Two of my favorite items on the menu are the mushroom shumai and the lobster har gow. Yes! LOBSTER har gow. Ooooh, so good! We definitely enjoyed everything we ate and left overstuffed. I will be back again for sure!

If you are local to the Bay Area, check out the Koi Palace closest to you, you will love it! If you are here in the South Bay, be sure to check out the new location at Cupertino Main Street. It is so good!

It was literally the first spring day of the day, weather-wise, when we decided to try the new Koi Palace Contempo location inside Cupertino’s Main Street. I decided to wear my spring sweater, which I have been dying to wear for two months! It was perfect with jeans on this spring-like day. So glad spring has finally arrived!

How fun is this blue eye liner? It reminds me of the late 1980s and early 1990s when blue eye liner and blue mascara were everything. Also loving this foundation powder. It has spf and is a one step process. Isn’t efficiency great? Love that!

The anonymous handbag and investment dressing are still hot. Look for chic and simple pieces this year which will transcend seasons and time.
