Boots for fall 2012

Fall 2012 is here and as the weather cools, clothing and accessories warm up. One of the fabulous ways to look chic yet keep warm is to wear an amazing pair of boots! There are many different boot trends for the fall 2012 season, making this fabulous shoe style a must-have for the cool weather season.

For fall 2012, boots are being shown in two distinct shaft lengths; ankle and knee. The knee-length boots for fall 2012 are not covering the knee; rather, they are ending on the calf just below the knee. Both the knee-high and ankle high boot styles are comfortable and can easily be worn with skirts, dresses, leggings, skinnies or under pants.

Heel heights for fall boots this season are varying too. Casual, flat styles are being shown with long skirts, leggings and under pants. Flat boot styles are mainly being shown on knee high boots. Higher heels starting at 2” and going up to 5” are being shown on both ankle and knee-high boots. With a heel, boots for fall 2012 can easily be paired with short skirts, knee length hemlines and long hemlines. Heeled boots can also be worn with pants, leggings, skinnies and trousers. Versatility! Love that!

Boots for fall 2012 are being shown in neutral colors. Seasonal colors which have been found on fall pumps and flats are not being seen on boots; with the exception of leopard print ankle boots. The key to wearing boots for fall 2012 is to go with a classic and neutral hue that can easily be worn with all of the fabulous bright colors and autumn shades of the season. Look for basic black, grey, chocolate brown, medium brown, burgundy, navy and shades of beige and tan.

We found a few fabulous boots around the web and assembled them into this article. Hope you love them! Happy shopping and stay fabulous
