Scarf skirt and a cute tea

It’s always a fun time enjoying tea at the Hello Kitty Cafe at Valley Fair. The food is on theme and so cute! Plus, it’s delicious! If you haven’t been to tea-time at the Hello Kitty Cafe, you need to make a reservation and go! It’s so cute and yummy!

I decided to wear my scarf skirt for teatime. I was experiencing some foot pain, so I wore my comfy boots which are easy to walk in and support my feet. This scarf skirt also looks cute with sandals and flats; which would normally be my preference over boots.

This scarf skirt is so much fun! It has that fun, scarf (asymmetrical) hemline which give it style its’ on own. For warm days, it’s easy to pair with a tee and boom! An outfit is born. As temperatures cool off in the fall season, I can pair this skirt with a short sleeve sweater, and eventually a long sleeve sweater and knee boots. Love!

Scarves are making a comeback. So, feel free to pull out your vintage scarves from yesteryear and incorporate them into your everyday looks. When shopping for fall, look for fun styles with scarf inspiration such a blouses, dresses and of course, skirts!

August is flying by! Can you believe it’s halfway through? Where is the time going? Anyway, this means we are closer to fall and fall temperatures. Love that!

As we think about prepping our wardrobes for fall, the new season will bring the return of color mixed in with neutrals. It will also continue to bring us high-quality style and steer clear of logos. We are seeing softer fabrications and obvious fall staples such as suede, cashmere, and silk scarves. Bring on fall! I am so done with summer weather!

Fall nail polish is starting to appear on store shelves, and it is selling quickly. Brands are starting to use the scarcity marketing tactic with nail polish. So, if you like a color, buy it quickly!

Fall outfit and a beachy dinner

Ah, fog in San Francisco. I love it when the fog rolls in; especially when I want to manifest fall weather! Over the weekend, we went up to the city for dinner at Seal Rock Inn. This was fabulous because it was blazing hot in the south bay, so heading up into the fog was a blessing. Plus, it was a chance to rock a fall outfit. Love that!

Seal Rock Inn is a cute little hotel by the beach in San Francisco. It has a delicious restaurant on the corner which features views of the ocean. I can’t believe I didn’t take a photo for you! Well, this means you will have to visit the restaurant yourself to see the beautiful views of the ocean.

I enjoyed a glass of Riesling, which was served in a champagne flute. For my entree, I ordered the Chicken Coq au Vin, which was amazing. Of course, for dessert I had to have Creme Brulee; it’s my favorite.

Our meals were really good, so we definitely plan to go back. I have heard Seal Rock Inn has an amazing brunch menu, so I think we will check that out next time and combine it with a visit to Land’s End. So, I highly recommend enjoying a meal at Seal Rock Inn!
